The concealed vitamin B17 amygdalin laetrile

“The ultimate reason of resistance to an innovation in medicine is always that hundreds of thousands of people live on the fact that something is incurable …”

Vitamin B17, also called laetrile or amygdalin, was discovered by the researcher Dr. Krebs to be a vitamin-like and water-soluble substance and was therefore given the name vitamin B17.

The main active ingredient of vitamin B17 – the nitriloside – consists of one molecule each of hydrogencyanide and benzaldehyde. It is a very stable cyanogen compound that initially behaves neutrally in living organisms, is completely non-toxic and has no effect whatsoever on healthy tissue! Its effect can only unfold through the cleavage enzyme ss-glucosidase, which does not occur anywhere in the body in appreciable quantities – except in degenerate and uncontrollably dividing cells! There, its concentration is one hundred to 3000 times higher than in the healthy cells of the environment. Thus, vitamin B17 is “split” directly in the diseased cells and, with its strong “cell poisons” of cyanide (prussic acid) and benzaldehyde, can only have a (toxic) effect on these cells or heal them.

Another natural circumstance contributes to this: The absence or presence of another endogenous enzyme called rhodanase, which has the ability and the property to neutralize the prussic acid and convert it into substances that are not only non-toxic for the organism, but even beneficial and necessary for its health. This enzyme can convert hydrogen cyanide into thiocyanate, which has a positive effect on our organism. Thiocyanate lowers blood pressure and is also the substance from which our body produces vitamin B12, which is important for the nerves. The free benzaldehyde is also converted in the healthy body cells with the help of oxygen – into the painkilling benzoic acid. This is the reason for the generally analgesic or slightly anaesthetic effect of vitamin B17.

This means that laetrile (vitamin B17, amygdalin) has two very crucial properties: healthy tissue can use vitamin B17 as a nutrient, while it can poison and destroy degenerated cells. However, this process of nature is not patentable. It is adapted to the natural regulation possibilities of the body. And unlike conventional chemotherapy, which deliberately overrides the body’s natural regulatory mechanisms, there is no poisoning of the body.

In summary:

  • Vitamin B17 has a cancer preventive effect (avoidance of uncontrolled cell division or cell degeneration)
  • Vitamin B17 relieves pain
  • Vitamin B17 contributes significantly to the improvement of general condition

Foodstuffs containing vitamin B17 (average amygdalin content of individual seed kernels in %):

  • Bitter almonds ≤ 12%
  • Apricot kernels ≤ 8%
  • Peaches ≤ 6 %
  • Sweet almonds ≤ 5 %
  • Plums ≤ 3 %
  • Sour cherries ≤ 2 %
  • Sweet cherries ≤ 2 %

further:

  • Legumes and their seedlings (cow peas or black peas, chickpeas, lentil seedlings, white beans, kidney beans, lima beans, peas)
  • Whole grains (buckwheat, oats, rye, barley, millet, brown rice)
  • Fruit stones of apples, wild crab apples, nectarines, pears, plums, prunes, apricots, peaches
  • Cabbage (broccoli, kale, red cabbage, cauliflower)
  • Nuts (raw cashew nuts, macadamia nuts)
  • Spinach, watercress, currants

There is also a maximum dose that should not be exceeded when consuming seed kernels containing amygdalin. Small amounts of prussic acid are produced by enzymatic processes, which the organism detoxifies to a certain degree without any problems. Only if the consumption is too high or the detoxification capacity of the body is exceeded, symptoms of poisoning can occur.

The lowest lethal dose for a 60 kg adult is 0.57 mg per kilogram of body weight, which is about 40 apricot kernels eaten at once! If the prussic acid content is considered against the background of the lowest value of the detoxification rate for prussic acid of 0.1 mg/kg/h, the following figures result: An adult can thus detoxify 6.0 mg prussic acid per hour, which corresponds to a consumption rate of about 7 apricot kernels per hour.

You can’t just swallow 40 aspirin at once with no consequences!

A cumulative or accumulating, i.e. in the course of time accumulating and intensifying effect of hydrocyanic acid in the human organism and thus a creeping poisoning is not possible by nature!

Experience has shown that if more than 30 bitter almonds or more than 40 apricot kernels are consumed throughout the day, diarrhoea, stomach ache, nausea, headache, fever, vomiting and dizziness may occur.

Accordingly, the daily amount should be lower. As with all natural products, major fluctuations are of course possible and must be taken into account on an individual basis. Therefore, begin with a gradual consumption and start with the daily intake of one seed and slowly increase from day to day to stimulate the necessary enzyme activities until you have reached the desired amount of seeds (which, by the way, you do not take all at once, but in three or four portions throughout the day).

Dr. Greenberg, Professor Emeritus of Biology at the University of California and consultant to the California Department of Public Health writes: “Aspirin tablets are 20 times more toxic than the same amount of laetrile. The toxicity of aspirin is cumulative (increasing in effect) and can build up over days or even months. The process triggered by laetrile, on the other hand, is completed within a few hours and leaves no residue. In the U.S., more than 90 people die each year from aspirin poisoning. But no one has ever died from vitamin B17.”
