Whether as a healthy snack in the office or booster for in between – the energy balls are extremely versatile and the perfect companion for on the go. They are especially good before and after sports or to counteract a small midday slump in the office.

You can also prepare the dried apples yourself in a dehydrator. Apples provide the body with many vitamins and minerals. For example, they contain a lot of vitamin C, folic acid, as well as potassium, iron, magnesium and calcium. Also some secondary plant substances are in the delicious and healthy fruit.

Ingredients for the Apple-Cinnamon Energy Balls

  • 140g almonds
  • 150g dried apple
  • 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Preparation of the Apple-Cinnamon Energy Balls

We recommend soaking the almonds in cold water overnight and rinsing them off with cold water in the morning.

Step 1
Put the almonds in a blender and mix into small crumbs.

Add the dried apples and mix these into smaller pieces too. A tamper makes the whole thing easier.

Put the mixture in a bowl. Now you take small portions spoon by spoon and roll them into balls. Put them aside.

Put the cinnamon in a small bowl and roll it one ball at a time until it is covered in cinnamon.

The apple and cinnamon balls can be stored in a cool place for up to 4 days.
